As a mortgage coach, there are few things more rewarding than watching someone you’ve had the privilege to coach continue to grow as both a producer and a leader. That’s exactly how I feel about Bryan Brown and his recent promotion to Regional Manager at Rate.
I’ve been fortunate to work alongside Bryan and watch firsthand what has made him one of the top mortgage professionals in the country. His promotion isn’t simply recognition of impressive production—it’s recognition of the leader he’s become and the impact he has on everyone around him.
Bryan has spent more than 20 years in the mortgage industry, and his results speak for themselves. Since 2012, he has consistently ranked among the Top 1% of mortgage originators in the United States while earning Rate’s prestigious President’s Club every year for his outstanding production. As a leader, he’s also received Top Manager Production Awards annually since 2009, demonstrating that he not only produces at an elite level but also knows how to build successful teams.
One of the things I’ve always admired most about Bryan is that he never lets the numbers define him. Yes, he’s consistently one of the industry’s top producers, but what truly separates him is how much he cares about his clients, referral partners, teammates, and family. He approaches every relationship with humility, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
That mindset is exactly why this promotion makes so much sense.
In announcing his new role, Bryan shared something that perfectly reflects the type of leader he is. Even as Regional Manager, he’ll continue serving as a Producing Branch Manager because he believes the best leaders stay connected to their clients and lead from the front. That’s a philosophy I’ve always believed in myself, and it’s one of the many reasons coaching Bryan has been such a rewarding experience.
Bryan also shared that his team funded more than $86 million in home loans last year and is currently on pace to exceed $120 million in 2026, representing approximately 39% year-over-year growth. Those numbers are certainly impressive, but they represent much more than production—they reflect years of building trust, developing systems, coaching his team, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
As Regional Manager, Bryan’s focus will expand beyond his own production to recruiting exceptional talent, developing high-performing loan officers, and helping build teams that consistently deliver outstanding service. Knowing Bryan, I have no doubt he’ll approach this role with the same energy, integrity, and commitment that have defined his career.
Bryan’s background has prepared him well for this opportunity. A graduate of Bentley University with a degree in Finance, he combines strong financial expertise with an ability to build lasting relationships. Whether helping first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, veterans, investors, or families purchasing their dream home, Bryan has always focused on finding the right mortgage solution rather than simply closing another loan.
As someone who has had the opportunity to coach Bryan, I can say this: great leaders aren’t created by one big accomplishment. They’re built through years of consistency, accountability, humility, and a willingness to keep learning.
Bryan Brown embodies those qualities every day.
Congratulations, Bryan, on this well-deserved promotion. I’m grateful to be part of your journey, excited to continue coaching you, and looking forward to watching you make an even greater impact as a Regional Manager while continuing to serve your clients at the highest level.
