Results: Success or Failure?

As life and business continues to change in different ways, and as each of us strive to grow and be better each day, this week’s word is results. For every action you take, good or bad, there are results for those actions. If you eat well and work out, there are results to those actions that are very positive. If you eat badly and do no exercise there are negative results to those actions. I speak a lot about people taking action and how action creates timing.

This weekend I thought a lot about the actions people take in their life and I realized most people take action in their life, just not the right ones. It has taken me a long time to realize that there is not real easy way to accomplish greatness. There is no secret pill, no magic wand, and corner-cutting blueprint. So why do most people continue to take the least amount of action to get the maximum amount of results?

The one thing you have maximum control over is your choices. If you choose to go out drinking and not sleep, you made a choice that the next day (or as you get older the next 3 days) you are not going to be your best. That is a choice and you know what the results will be from that choice. Just as in business if you look for the easy way out and take not true action each day you know the results that you will get.

This week, make changes to what you can control, your actions and your choices. You can’t control what others say or do but you can control what you say and do. Let’s all commit this week to make a choice to take TRUE action to our success. That means for all of us to get out of the comfort zone (the easy way out) and push your to a different level.

I know it’s not easy or you would have already been doing it. However, I do know that if I can keep reminding yourself that it must be done, some of you will read this and really take action to get the right results! Right now stop and make the calls you know you need to make but have trying to find an easy way to do it. Just take the action NOW, the more just thinking about it. The more you think about it you will talk yourself out of it! So stay focused on the results of what will happen if you take these actions. Stay away from the results from bad actions and lack of action. But if you do or do not take this week’s challenge you will have an outcome for what you do or don’t do. Don’t settle this week, be better than last week and make this week count!
